The Port of Tallinn consists three different passenger terminals: Terminal A, Terminal D and Linnahall Terminal. Terminal A is used by Eckerö Line, Viking Line and St. Peter Line. The first two operate Tallinn-Helsinki lines and St. Peter Line operates St.Petersburg-Helsinki-Stockholm-Tallinn line. Terminal A is located between the two other terminals and within walking distance of Tallinn city centre as well as the Old Town. Shopping places like Sadama Turg, SadaMarket and Merekeskus are situated just a stone’s throw away, plus you can also find a small cafeteria/bar and Eckerö Line’s shop inside the terminal.
Just like every other terminal in Tallinn, also Terminal A has a long queue of taxis waiting in front of it, but we never use them, as quite often these are the taxis which charge much higher rates than for example the ones that we normally hire (check out our taxi recommendations for Tallinn). Anyway, if you decide to take a taxi from the harbour, then we highly recommend fixing the price in advance.
The location of Passanger Terminal A can be found on the Tallinn map below.
