St. Catherine’s Passage is one of the most beautiful places in Tallinn Old Town and offers a real medieval atmosphere at its best. So if you are planning to wander the narrow streets of Tallinn Old Town, then this is one of the sights you shouldn’t miss. The name of the alley comes from the 700 year old St. Catherine’s Church, which is located nearby. However, the name of this narrow corridor hasn’t always been St. Catherine’s Passage as for a long time it was known as Monk’s Alley.
