Rotermann City is the most interesting shopping district in Tallinn, due to its location on an old industrial site, which nowadays combines an interesting combination of old and new. The shopping district is located in Tallinn city centre, just a two minute walk from Viru Keskus and about 10 minutes from the Port of Tallinn. In many shopping centres based in Tallinn, the selection of stores is more or less the same, but with the Rotermann this isn’t the case. For example, the only shops of Pull & Bear, Bershka, and Stradivarius in Tallinn can be found from Rotermann. When the shopping district was first opened, the shops were constantly changing, but over time Rotermann has been able to find a combination of boutiques that match with its concept. There are also some good restaurants like Alter Ego and Platz, and if you like sweet things then we recommend visiting Kalev Chocolate Shop.
The shops don’t have the same opening hours, but a pretty good rule of thumb is that they open their doors around 10 or 11 am and close somewhere between 6 and 8 pm. Please note that some of the shops are closed on Sunday.
